My goal of starting The Shalom Shoppe was to create a space to highlight beautiful, functional Judaica gifts, but most importantly keeping everything affordable. I have always loved the beauty of Judaism and have filled my home with a variety of Judaica items from around the world. These items conjure up incredible memories and show guests, in my home, how proud I am of my Jewish life. So, after twenty five years as a Jewish professional, covid hits and The Shalom Shoppe story begins.

As Synagogue life was put on hold, I felt more than ever that Judaism needed to get into homes. If families couldn't get to Temple, I could bring the Temple to them. My love of Judaism took a different turn and I created a hands on activity box called Tot Shabbat In A Box. After some rebranding and getting to know what customers were looking for, The Shalom Shoppe was born

I thought why schlep looking for high quality, but more importantly affordable Judaic gifts? Oy, who has the time? I love to search and kvell over small owned businesses while showcasing their products on the Shoppe. Whether shopping for the whole mishpocha, friends or yourself I want you to save some gelt and bring naches to all!!

As a mom of two incredible daughters, my family loves spending time in Israel, summers spent at Jewish overnight camp and anywhere in nature!! Jewish family values are the driving force behind my business. I strongly believe community and collaboration go hand in hand. Our vendors are incredible artists from around the country, Canada and Israel. Each artist has a story and every product is made with love and care. I also love to volunteer in my community from working weekly in The Mitzvah Food Pantry, collecting for Mitzvah Circle, painting a home for Family Promise.

My hope is you want to “shoppe" , over and over, and enjoy the beauty of Judaism (and shopping of course) as much as I do!!
